Itinerary

DAY 1: HCMC ARRIVAL – FREE AT LEISURE

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Int Airport (Paging board pick-up area OUTSIDE), meet and greet by our friendly driver at the exit. Then transfer to city centre. Check in at hotel, free at leisure.

DAY 2: HCMC – MEKONG DELTA – CU CHI TUNNEL – MY THO

After breakfast, around 7:30 to 7:45 pick up at hotel to enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals.
Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.
Afternoon, proceed to Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an immense network of interconnected tunnels near Saigon that are part of a much larger network lying below much of the country. A guided visit to these tunnels provides a better understanding of their history, the hardship of life underground and the resilience of the Vietnamese during combat. The tunnels were built and used initially by the Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots to protect them from the French air and ground sweeps. They later served as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals and living quarters for the guerrilla fighters throughout the Vietnam-American war.
You're invited to enter a section of the tunnels to witness the secrets of the tunnels firsthand. Your guide will also show you various mantraps employed from this period, the remains of an American tank and numerous B52 bomb craters.

DAY 3: HCMC – FLIGHT TO DANANG – MARBLE MOUTAIN – BANA HILLS (B)

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Tan Son Nhat Int Airport for domestic flight to Danang. Arrival at Danang Int Airport, transfer to you hotel in city centre.
Afternoon visit:
Marble Mountain is a natural masterpiece bestowed to the land of Da Nang. It is a group of five limestone mountains in with the harmonious beauty of the ecological area and the spiritual and cultural life.
Hoi An Ancient Town – A World Cultural Heritage. It is a living museum of world-wide construction designs and urban lifestyle. From the 15th till the 20th century, Hoi An was an exclusive trading port between European and Asian businessmen. Exploring Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Communal House, Tan Ky Traditional House, Museum, Handicraftsman at work. Free time for shopping at Hoi An. Transfer back to Danang

DAY 4: DANANG – FLIGHT TO HANOI – FREE AT LEISURE [NO GUIDE] (B)

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Danang Int Airport for domestic flight to Hanoi. Arrival at Noi Bai Int Airport, you will be picked up to city centre. Free at leisure.

DAY 5: HANOI – FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B)

You will enjoy a city tour in Hanoi:
Ho Chi Minh Complex - One of the most historic tourist attractions in Vietnam. Being there, travelers can learn numerous things about Uncle Ho’s life, together with the Vietnamese liberation process under his lead. This complex includes: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (visit outside only), Ba Dinh Square, Uncle Ho' Stilt House, One Pillar Pagoda.
Temple of Literature - We’ll see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 – it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.
Continue the tour to one of the following museums of choice namely: the Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Vietnamese History, the Museum of Revolution, the Museum of Military History or the Museum of Ethnology.
Late afternoon, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple located on an islet in the lake. Hoan Kiem Lake is the center point of Hanoi and home to a rare endangered giant turtle species. Its name “Returned Sword” comes from a legend of a sacred sword being lent to an ancient Vietnamese King by a holy turtle from the lake and later returned to the turtle. Shop or walk at leisure in the Old Quarter of 36 ancient streets.

DAY 6: HANOI – HALONG BAY ON CRUISE (B/L/D)

Halong Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage site (160km driving one way - 3.5hrs drive). This will be your first opportunity to see some of the rural areas of Vietnam. The drive goes through the Red River delta, so we'll have plenty of chance for taking photo of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy field.
12h00 – 12h30: Embark Halong Cruise. Enjoy welcome drink and get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.
13h15: Have lunch while cruising in the magnificent Bay, admiring the fascinating rock and the beautiful of Halong Bay from your cruise.
16h00: Join a guided visit to Stalemate Cave in Ha Long Bay.
17h20: Return to Cruise, enjoy the sunset while relaxing with happy hours from now to dinner time at the bar.
18h00: Enjoy happy hours various drinks on discount. Taking part in a Cooking Demonstration & Food Décor Class with our Chef.
19h00 – 21h00: Dinner is served on cruise restaurant.
21h00 – 22h00: Time of second happy hours to the late night or join Squid Fishing with the crew, sing Karaoke or just laze around or relax in your cabin.

06h30 Welcome a new day with amazing dawn on the cruise. Refresh your body & soul by a Tai-Chi Lesson on sundeck.
07h00 – 08h00: Catch morning view of seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast.
08h00 – 09h00: Climb to the peak of Island for the panoramic views of the bay. Relax on the beach, swim in the emerald water.
09h00: Return to Cruise for freshening up.
09h30: Check out your cabin and continue roaming around the picturesque route toward Bai Tho Mountain near the harbor.
10h30: Have early lunch (brunch)
12.00 : Arrive back at Ha Long city for disembarkation. Back to Hanoi. Transfer to Noi Bai Int Airport for flight home.
